Reagan's political views were in a way torn as he supported republicans yet was still trying to connect with the rest of the people in the United States as he struggled with what to do with foreign policies. With Reagan's preparation for the Geneva conference and the Radical Republicans pushing for another war Regan was in a tight situation. The Republican view of getting everything they want regardless of the cost opposed everything the rest of the world supported as they thought that it was ok if Reagan didn’t get everything he wanted. This problem put Regan in a confused position as following the republican position could look bad for the U.S. yet he was still tied to them.
This cartoon shows how the government looked like it was going to help the poor and they said they were going to but in reality they were just attacking the poor. Also while the poor were under this attack by this force they could do nothing about the rich sat by and not only were not hurt by it but benefited from it getting more money than before. The rich just watched as the government handed them money and destroyed the poor.
This cartoon shows how Reagan was being revered while aids was running rampant and he was doing nothing about it. The aids virus was getting out of control and our leader was doing nothing about it as the virus got worse and worse. The doctor even goes as far to say that telling people that they are Reagan positive would be an insult.
